After
a few weeks of tough games and low winning margins The Forks cruised
to a reasonably comfortable win over Flyers.

This
was a game that felt like it could go over way and it took until the
sixth innings when Creamers won the innings by five runs to one that
either team gained any degree of dominance over the other.

Solid
fielding and some power batting by their men saw Tbolts take charge
of this game and control it from the
third innings on.

For
the second week running Buccs Whiz struggled to score runs while
Guppys had no such problems.

For
the first time this season Crushers ended up on the losing side with
the in form The Force continuing with their solid play to upset the
division leaders.

2 Sliders 16 Chipmonks 6
Powerful
hitting with five home runs from the Sliders men made it a very
difficult fielding night for the Chipmonks.

3 Greasy Mitts 17 Friendly Fire 11
Greasy
Mitts reversed the defeat they suffered at the hands of Friendly Fire
in their first encounter at the beginning of the season to come out
on top in this game and to make it four wins in their last five
games.

4 Desperados 18 Cheeky Monkeys 6
Desperados
were back to winning ways after their loss in the re- arranged
fixture to Crushers last week when they were too strong for a Cheeky
Monkeys side that struggled with the bats.

1 Multiple Scorgasms 10 Thunderbats 11
Thunderbats
were mercied by Multiple Scorgasms in their opening game of this
season so it just shows how much this team has improved as they
continued with their recent good form to come out on top in a tight
encounter. This win brings Thunderbats level on points with Scorgasms
and a contender for promotion.

In
another reverse to the first game of the season the victims of so
many close losses, Run’n’Base came through to win against
Spartans with a reasonably comfortable margin.

3 Flatpackers 6 Wild Aces 24
The
only unbeaten team in the league this season continued their
impressive winning ways with a solid victory over Flatpackers.

4 Go Balls Deep 9 Team Phoenix 33
Its
taken Team Phoenix awhile to get going but this victory over Go Balls
Deep gave them three wins in a row and they are starting to creep up
the league table.

Ice
Cold Pitchers had to forfeit this game at late notice due
unavailabilities.
